Interviews

Creator interviews

How 44 of the creators people ask about most actually work, in their own words. Each interview answers the same eight questions: how they started, how they decide what to make, their workflow, what works now, early mistakes, advice for new creators, working with brands, and what’s next.

Their words, verbatim

Every answer is a quote from a published interview, podcast or talk, named and dated, and checked word for word against its source.

Facts with sources

Biographies, numbers and dates come from named sources, listed at the end of every interview so you can read them in context.

We didn’t speak to these creators. The commentary between quotes is ours, and it’s kept separate from what they said.

TikTok creators

Short-form creators on formats that travel, fast fame and what comes after it.

Streamers on Twitch and YouTube on long broadcasts, community and boundaries.

Instagram creators

Creators who built an audience on Instagram, and often a brand on top of it.

Podcasters

Hosts on booking guests, video-first podcasts and turning a show into a business.

About the series

Did Topfluencers interview these creators?
No. These interviews are compiled from the public record. We put the same eight questions to each creator’s published interviews, podcasts and talks, and answer them only with the creator’s own words, quoted verbatim, named and dated. The commentary around the quotes is ours, and every source is listed at the end of each interview.
How do you check the quotes?
Each quote is matched word for word against a saved copy of the page it came from, and any quote that doesn’t match is corrected or removed before publishing. Numbers, dates and business facts are checked against named sources the same way. If you spot a mistake, email us and we’ll fix it within 48 hours.
What questions does each interview answer?
How the creator started, how they decide what to make next, how they make a video or post, what works on their platform now, the mistakes they made early on, their advice for new creators, what they say about working with brands, and what they’re working on now. Each interview closes with a table of lessons you can apply.
Can I ask Topfluencers to interview me?
Yes. Topfluencers also interviews the creators it features on its lists: a 20-minute conversation about how you work, turned into an article you approve before it’s published. Tell us you’re interested
